Secure online payments are handled by STRIPE (world leader in this field) directly on this website on the Buy page. In this case, the transaction is carried out by credit card (debit or credit), either the old-fashioned way by entering all your postal and bank details by hand, or quickly via Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Link, where this information is already pre-registered, if your terminal (i.e. computer, tablet or smartphone) is compatible and configured for this purpose. As with any online order, the debit is immediate in all cases.
If the transaction fails, you'll be clearly notified on-screen that no debit and no order has been made. 95% of unsuccessful payments are caused in countries where the 3DSECURE validation is required by law (in other words, the buyer fails in this case to accept the payment on his smartphone in time). In the event of any other unidentified cause, we advise you to close the website, quit your browser or even restart your terminal before attempting a new payment.
Alternatively, you can also pay by bank transfer. In this case, you can email us to the address below to request the necessary IBAN information. But if possible, please pay online by credit card.
Any successful online payment automatically generates an order that is notified to the buyer's email address provided at the time of purchase, with the subject line Your receipt from UNILATER (or an equivalent sentence in your own language if different than English) followed by a number. This receipt number also serves as your order number.
Note: If you have not received the email receipt after a successful payment, please check in your junk folder first. If nothing is retrieved, contact us and don't worry: we'll check and forward the receipt to you manually by email. Such setback sometimes happens with quick payments made via Apple Pay, Google Pay or Stripe Link.
The monohedron is handcrafted on demand in France in the order received. Please be aware that the 3D printing process is quite lengthy and alas, prone to failures. After each succesfull print, manual post-processing (including sanding, waterproofing and drying) is also mandatory, which also takes time.
There is usually no advance stock, and the number of orders fluctuates through time. Depending on peak or trough demand as well as uncertainty in the production process explained above, it may take from a few days to a several weeks to manufacture and ship your monohedron. Once your monohedron has been completed, it is packaged in a custom-made cardboard box and handed over to French national postal service La Poste using their Colissimo parcel delivery service (International Colissimo if the destination address is located outside of France) with a tracking number that is sent to you by email on the day your parcel is dispatched. The average delivery time within France is 48 working hours, 3 to 4 working days within the European Union and Switzerland, 3 to 8 days to the United Kingdom. Deliveries overseas take a bit more time.
